Summary Job title: Delivery Driver / Warehouse Associate Job ID: 202455000004 Department: Brea - CWE Location: CA-Brea Description Summary: + Making deliveries to our customer base using a 12 ft stake-bed truck + Loading the truck + Creating a shipping route and logging the information onto a route sheet + Informing manager of truck maintenance issues if issues arise + Warehousing + Pulling orders + Understanding how to use aisle locations to find products that are on our order sheets + Understanding how to use our staging shelves for orders that are not being shipped the same day + Receiving deliveries from vendors and pulling receiving reports + Some computer knowledge is preferred + Being able to input information into our software with some instruction + Shipping via Bill of Lading and UPS + Use of UPS World Ship software + Knowing how Bill of Lading works with LTL shipments + Putting stock material on the shelves + Be physically able to lift up to 50 pounds without assistance + Inventory + Counting/recording inventory counts once a year + Cycle counting + Proficiency with a forklift + Being able to drive the forklift safely while putting on/taking off pallets from our racking + Being able to change the propane in the forklift. Reports to: Profit Center Manager Minimum Qualifications: Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving history. A CDL endorsement is not required. Authorization to work in the United States Ability to work daily Monday-Friday. Hours are: Mon-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm Friday 7:30am-4:00pm Preferred Qualifications: Desire to work in a smaller location, independently, and also be able to work with a small team. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Working Conditions: Warehouse environment and outdoor conditions including sometimes extreme hot/cold temperatures. Deliveries in all weather conditions including during extreme hot/cold, rain and other seasonal conditions. Supervisory Responsibilities: No Essential Job Functions: + Legally operate a motor vehicle and maintain a driving record that meets company standards + Load all order fulfillment materials onto the truck for delivery and unload at delivery + Communicate any vehicle mechanical problems to direct supervisor + Perform daily inspection and maintenance on company vehicle + Deliver/pick up merchandise to/from customers and suppliers promptly, efficiently, and in a professional manner + Pick up material from vendors + Receive incoming freight + Keep a clean and organized warehouse + Stock material on shelves + Pick orders + Processing returns from customers and to vendors + Operate a Microsoft-based computer system + Ability to work daily Monday-Friday.
