Our client, a company specializing in delivering and setting up high-quality furniture, is looking for a Delivery Helper to join their team in Hayward, CA. This role involves assisting in the loading and unloading of furniture, ensuring safe transport, and setting up items in customers' homes and businesses.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist the Delivery Driver with safely and efficiently loading and unloading furniture and décor items onto the truck, ensuring secure placement to prevent damage during transit.Transport heavy furniture (over 75 lbs) from the truck to customers' locations, utilizing proper lifting techniques to ensure safety.Collaborate with the Delivery Driver during on-site setup, arranging items according to company standards for a polished, professional presentation.Assist in hanging artwork, mirrors, and wall décor as directed, using appropriate tools to ensure secure installation.Represent the brand with a professional and positive attitude during all customer interactions.Support the Delivery Driver by providing customers with updates on delivery windows and addressing basic questions or concerns.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including keeping the delivery truck tidy to reflect the company's high standards.Follow instructions from the Delivery Driver, dispatcher, and other team members, adapting to changing tasks and priorities throughout the day.Be prepared to take on additional responsibilities as assigned to ensure successful operations.Show a willingness to learn new skills related to furniture handling, setup, and customer service, including the proper use of tools and safety protocols.

Requirements:

Ability to safely lift, move, and handle furniture and décor items up to 50 lbs.Strong teamwork and communication skills.Professional and positive attitude during customer interactions.Flexibility to adapt to changing tasks and priorities.Willingness to learn new skills related to furniture handling and customer service.Background check required.

Pay & Schedule:

$19.00 - $20.00Monday to Friday, hours may vary between 8:00 AM and 4:30 PM, with potential for earlier start times depending on delivery schedules.
