Position Overview
The Delivery Lead is a critical role within the TEKsystems Global Services delivery organization and functions in the execution of day-to-day activities as a junior project manager for services engagements.
A successful Delivery Lead possesses skillsets for managing people, processes, and technology and supporting senior program leadership activities that will lead to success.
This position is considered remote, supporting customers and teams within the portfolio. Travel is limited to 2-3 times yearly.
Essential Responsibilities
Solution Delivery:
• Ensure understanding of project vision/statement of work deliverables and any technical requirements as defined by customer.
• Collaborate with team members to manage risk, project scope, and deliver according to the terms and conditions of our contracts.
• Facilitate internal communication and help build a solution delivery team for new engagements.
• Consolidate project status and budget information across various project portfolios.
• Ensure processes and procedures are documented and communicated to all stakeholders.
• Support knowledge management strategy.
• Identify and coordinate project change control processes.
• Perform issue management and facilitate issue resolution with proper notification to all affected parties.
• Participate in project documentation, financial and operational audits to ensure business continuity.
Account Management:
• Perform periodic customer, project, and solution checkpoints with applicable teams.
• Assist in the management of any staff (internal/external) onboarding, communication plans, compliance/training, and other project governance activities.
• Build and support established reporting cadences, status reports, and budgetary documentation.
• Participate in Account Strategy with internal stakeholders, Sales, Global Delivery Management and other teams as needed.
Management:
• Act as a servant leader in leading/directing delivery activities.
• Develop and maintain project related documentation, including processes, tools, and procedures in accordance with the Global Services project management and any other agile methodologies.
• Understand and manage customer requirements to ensure contract compliance and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee document repositories.
• Ensure internal reports are completed on established cadences.
• Ensure Human Resources policies and procedures are communicated and executed for internal and consultant staff.
Required Skills & Experience
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English language)
• Analysis and problem-solving skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• People management skills
• Experience in project management fundamentals or as an acting Scrum Master
• Exposure to professional services agreements, including the change management process.
• Exposure to IT Managed Services, project management classes, and other IT certifications
• Demonstrated project risk analysis and mitigation skills
Preferred Skills & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• 1 or more years of experience in an IT or professional services environment
• Exposure to Agile methodologies, such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, XP
• PMP and/or IAOP (Outsourcing Professional) and Scrum Master certification are a plus
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $80000.00/yr.
We reserve the right to pay above or below the posted wage based on factors unrelated to sex, race, or any other protected classification.
Additional earnings may be available through incentive programs like annual bonuses, profit sharing, etc.
