Delivery Practice Manager, Professional Services Korea , A2C
Come and help us grow our early-in-career talent in Amazon Web Services (AWS) Professional Services! AWS is looking for experienced and motivated technologists who possesses a unique balance of technical depth, strong interpersonal skills, and business acumen to lead and develop a team of early-in-career consultants spanning a breadth of technology specializations and industry portfolios. You will partner with customers, AWS Sales, and other AWS teams to develop and execute cloud solutions that address customer use cases and accelerate innovation and the adoption of AWS. You will help shape and execute a strategy to deliver solutions for a broad range of customer use cases primarily from large enterprise customers while positioning and developing your team to build trust across our customer and organizational teams. You should also have a demonstrated ability to think and communicate strategically about business, products, people, and technical challenges.

Key job responsibilities
In this role, you will be a part of leading and building our complex and ambitious “Accelerate to Consultant” (A2C) Program, as well as elevating the technical execution and delivery of your team of early-in-career Associate Consultants. In the A2C Program, we’re hiring early-in-career technologists, , and providing training, coaching, and mentoring to develop them into productive, customer-facing technical consultants. Associate Consultants in the practice may include specialists in infrastructure, application development, DevOps, big data, data science, and security. Achieving success will require coordination across many internal AWS teams and external AWS Partners, with impact and visibility at the highest levels of the company. You’ll need to make prioritization calls across the enterprise that require both keen business and technical judgment, and will also drive processes and execution goals.

A day in the life
You will be based in Korea. Key job responsibilities
• Expertise - Drive training programs to focus and accelerate consultant development. Collaborate with AWS field sales, pre-sales, training and support teams to help partners and customers learn and use AWS services.
• Solutions - Define and deliver on-site technical engagements with partners and customers. This includes participating in on-site visits, mapping customer business and technical requirements, as well as guiding your team of Associates in their journey of experiential learning and delivery.
• Delivery - Driving high team utilization on customer engagements including working with customers and AWS Partners to discover and map hardware and software solutions on customer’s premise or alternate cloud solutions in order to build migration plans to move customer workloads to AWS.
• Cross Functional – working with peer leaders across professional services to develop and prioritize programs to meet the high bar set to deliver to our customer needs.

AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.

The Professional Services team at AWS is responsible for assisting enterprise customers as they shift to the cloud by incorporating our services into their overall architecture. We work hand-in-hand with customer teams and AWS partners to provide deep expertise in the architecture, design, development, and implementation of cloud computing initiatives that result in real business outcomes. As part of our team, you’ll accelerate the adoption of our products all while advocating for the success of our customers.
