THE WORK
Lockheed Martin is seeking a Delivery & Sustainment Quality Representative Associate for a position in Jacksonville, FL.
Responsibilities include:
Provides product quality support in a shipyard operational environment including delivery, maintenance, and modification efforts.
Interprets and provides governance to ensure full compliance with industry standards and customer regulations for specific product operations, including fielded systems from initial procurement, delivery, supply chain, reutilization, and disposal.
Measures quality performance.
Applies diagnostics and other condition-based maintenance techniques.
Quality integrator responsible for overseeing contractual compliance with company and 3rd party operations conducting product delivery, maintenance and operations.
Supports final acceptance of finished product and/or modification efforts.
Processes non-conforming hardware and ensures appropriate root cause is identified and corrective action is taken to prevent recurrence.
Performs assessments and audits on processes and procedures to ensure compliance to specifications.
Interfaces with program personnel on all quality related issues.
Utilizes lean initiatives to reduce waste and maintain continuous improvement.
Makes the final decision on acceptability of product.

Basic Qualifications:
Technical degree or military experience, or equivalent training, certifications and skills
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Ability to travel (minimal travel required)
Ability to interpret Drawings, Specifications, Contracts that will enable development and review of QE Processes, and related Performance Metrics
Ability to proactively review, interpret and apply specifications to determine compliance with requirements
Demonstrated basic understanding of audit techniques
Experience with use of inspection gages and measuring equipment
Desired Skills:
Ability to organize and track multiple activities and prioritize tasks based on importance
Effective interpersonal skills, including team building and collaboration
Experience working with Government customers
Knowledge of Root Cause Analysis tools and Corrective Action Planning
Understanding of Lean Six Sigma tools and processes
Proficient skill level with Microsoft Office applications
Experience with welding and welding inspection processes and procedures.
J-STD-001 and IPC-7711/7721 inspection experience
Demonstrated presentation skills
Effective Communication Skills: written, oral, listening and technical writing
Basic understanding of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerance (GD&T)
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.
Clearance Level: Secret
