About the Job
The Brand Representative (BA) will primarily be responsible for building relationships and brand awareness inside retail stores, on behalf of Dell.
The ideal candidate is a “people-person” who can cultivate relationships and build excitement about the Dell brand and products. The position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to create thoughtful and positive interactions with both store associates and prospective customers alike. The Brand Representative will leverage relationships to aid in selling, training, and merchandising Dell products throughout the specified market. All product training will be provided, we just need you to bring your personality and positive energy.

Enhance the Dell brand experience for shoppersDemonstrate and promote Dell products at retailers in the assigned marketBe the in-store resource to answer questions, discuss product features and provide hands-on demonstrationsEnsure all retailer sales personnel are highly knowledgeable on the unique selling points of Dell devicesConduct experience events to engage Retail Sales Associates and customersBrand Presence
Confirm display devices are clean, functional, and available for customers to useEnsure Dell’s retail brand standards are maintained by inspecting branded displays and marketing materialsConduct survey of in-store branded fixtures and displays and record findingsPartner with store leaders on solutions for pricing or merchandising issuesExecute resets, including placement or removal of devices and marketing materialMarket Intelligence
Provide insight into marketplace trends of territory retailersCollect consumer insights weeklyGather intelligence from stores which are exceeding sales performanceProvide data on competitor pricing, incentives, promotions, and customer preference or sentimentCareer Opportunity
2020 Companies has extensive and paid technology training courses for you prior to your start date. While prior knowledge of technology is helpful, it is not a requirement. Job Description:
Drive brand market share through daily direct and indirect sales activities engaging directly with customers and retail channel partnersDevelop partnership with retail store management to foster sales driving activities with associatesSchedule and facilitate sales and product training with front line store associates and managersEnsure current products are displayed, functional, and cleanSet Retail Display Resets and Refreshes as needed within assigned MarketsOpportunity to travel for Merchandising throughout the nationDrive sales productivity through high quality sales interactions with customersBuild and maintain industry vertical affiliate distribution relationshipsEffectively assess and communicate on-site needs such as marketing material and promotional collateral, etc.Educate customers while making product recommendationsMeet or exceed personal sales productivity goals and key metrics on a monthly and quarterly basisAccurately document and report sales, schedules, activities and best practicesCollect customer feedback and provide sales/marketing channel insight and recommendationsSet and maintain brand merchandising in retail locations and ensure all brand standards are followedPerformance Measurements:
Meet or exceed quarterly sales goalsMeet or exceed weekly in store time goalsVisit multiple store locations on a daily and weekly basisEffectively schedule store visits two weeks or more in advanceEffectively execute sales activities inside each location during all visitsEffectively demonstrate an on-going ability to establish, maintain and influence business relationships through increased shelf space, product placement and consistent productivityRecord and maintain appropriate documentation for each visitQualifications:
High school diploma or GED equivalent required6+ months previous retail selling experience in consumer electronics or other technical/wireless products preferred6+ months of successful training experience, preferably within direct marketing/retail environmentsExcellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skillsAbility to stage a consultative selling process that overcomes objections and connects with customer needsStrong analytical skills and customer service orientationStrong multi-tasking skills, time management and attention to detailAbility to perform independently in an unstructured work environmentTravel within 70 miles of Ideal Market Zip Code with occasional travel to other MarketsMust have and maintain reliable transportation and state-required minimum liability automobile insurance coverageWhat You Can Expect From 2020 Companies
