How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
Responsible for the development and ongoing support of
varied data sources and decision support tools to help advance Delta Vacations
commercial strategy. Apply data extraction, data visualization, business
strategy and quantitative skills towards insightful reporting development and
analysis across reporting platforms.
Serve as the primary contact for the promotion of corporate data
strategy projects in partnership with counterparts within DLV and Delta.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
+ Contribute to the development of reporting and analyticstools that accurately and efficiently aggregate across data sources to providea comprehensive view of Delta Vacations business trends, including revenueperformance, competitive insights, and customer engagement.
+ Partner with commercial teams to design, create and sourceinformation for visual displays and reporting, including guiding the usage ofdata visualization tools, including Tableau and Power BI.
+ Partner across the enterprise to define business and dataneeds to ensure completeness of information for strategic and tactical decisionmaking and to link business goals to data needs.
+ Independently develop the modeling and creation of new datasources based on current or future business needs that will support majorrevenue, profit, and customer experience accretive initiatives.
+ Support DLV IT on business intelligence data structure toachieve roadmap.
+ Be a change agent and play a key role in bringing consensusto decisions related to data sourcing and decisioning in conjunction withstakeholders and leaders.
+ Act as the primary point of contact with keyinternal/external partners to ensure DLV is considered when relevantcollaborative opportunities exist, especially as it pertains tocross-commercial data exercises; to include regular interfacing, meetingparticipation and a focus on seams elimination between DLV, Delta, and externaldata sources.
OTHER DUTIES
+ Regularly evaluate processes and make recommendations toimprove efficiency.
+ Manage across businesses and functions in developing andimplementing projects. Assist with development and dissemination of informationon a continuous basis to all pertinent parties concerning the fulfillment ofproject goals and objectives.
+ Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
+ Domestic and international travel to fulfill assigned responsibilities.
Annual salary range is $52031 - $82416
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ Bachelor’s or advanced degree in a quantitative disciplinesuch as Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Decision Science orOperations Research or equivalent work experience in a comparable field
+ Three years of strong Tableau, Power BI, Adobe Analytics,SAS, SQL, Hyperion/BRIO or similar tool skills required
+ Three years’ experience with data aggregation, datavisualization, and reporting development experience required
+ Sound analytical data and communication skills; ability tocommunicate at all levels
+ Must be capable of independently managing multiple projectsfrom inception to completion and make well informed priority trade-off
+ Strong collaborative communication skills and the ability towork across several stakeholder groups translating goals and objectives intodeliverable strategies
+ Must be able to effectively and professionally communicatewith management, staff and customers as well as demonstrate soundjudgment/reasoning skills
+ Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts,draw valid conclusion, make strategic recommendations and solve problems in atimely and accurate manner
+ Ability to prioritize and successfully manage multiple,complex projects/deadlines simultaneously
+ Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self,others, and personal data
+ Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
+ Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high schoolequivalency
+ Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work inthe United States
