Delta Vacations Senior Analyst, Technology Evaluation and Systems Integration

Responsible for the evaluation of new software and technologies and their integration with Delta Vacations’ existing systems. This role will join the Commercial Innovation & Delivery team, reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Commercial Innovation & Delivery. HOW YOU WILL HELP US DELIVER EXPERIENCES THAT MATTER (OVERVIEW & KEY RESPONSIBILITIES) In this function, you will be responsible for the identification and review of new technology platforms to determine their suitability for Delta Vacation. Conduct detailed evaluations and provide recommendations on technology adoption strategies. Partner internally and externally to lead integration of new technologies into existing systems and processes, including definition, iteration, prioritization, socialization, testing and training. WHAT ELSE WILL YOU BE DOING (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS) + Conduct market analysis to identify relevant technology trends, competitor solutions, and industry best practices. + Compare different technology options based on performance metrics and industry standards and analyze the technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and implementation challenges of potential technology solutions. + Present key stakeholders, including leadership teams, with comprehensive reports detailing findings, recommendations, and potential risks associated with technology evaluations. + Interact with technology vendors and strategic sourcing team to gather information, negotiate contracts, and manage the implementation processes. + Develop plans for integrating new technologies into existing systems and processes and lead implementation phases, including system configuration, data migration, testing, and user training. + Coordinate between internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration that meets business needs, monitors project progress against established timelines and identifies potential risks or roadblocks. + Develop and maintain workstream documentation including epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria, among others. + Coordinate user testing and the development of any associated training materials or documentation related to product launch. This full-time position is located at Delta Vacations Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia. WORK ENVIRONMENT Delta Vacations Corporate Headquarters, Atlanta, Georgia POSITION TYPE/STANDARD SCHEDULE Full-Time, Monday through Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend may be required as job duties demand. TRAVEL Domestic travel may be required to fulfill assigned responsibilities. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + Candidates for this position may have a Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. + Three years’ experience with sourcing/implementation or related fields required. + Two years’ experience working in Agile environment or project management with a strong track record of balancing multiple initiatives and producing results. + Strong PC skills including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required. + Solid understanding of software development, integration, and implementation processes. + Ability to analyze complex technical data and draw relevant conclusions. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with diverse stakeholders and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, both verbally and in writing. + Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data. + Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. + Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency. + Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.
