Job Title: College Intern – Demand Planning and Material Planning Job ID: 21030 Job Location: Cincinnati, OH Job Description: We are seeking a motivated College Intern to support our Demand Planning and Material Planning team. This internship offers hands-on experience in managing demand data, production schedules, and supply chain processes within the aerospace and defense industry. Responsibilities: + Act as the liaison between cross-functional teams to gather and consolidate demand data for programs. + Collect, analyze, and report on sales orders and customer forecasts. + Develop and track metrics related to demand planning, forecasting, and SIOP execution. + Collaborate with Business Development, Program Management, and Engineering teams to understand requirements and market trends. + Maintain an accurate demand plan spanning 18-24 months. + Track demand changes and proactively communicate risks and opportunities. + Participate in SIOP meetings, adjusting demand plans based on priorities and conditions. + Assist in managing production schedules and inventory to meet delivery deadlines. + Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand planning efficiency. Qualifications: + Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field. + Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. + Detail-oriented and able to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
