Reporting into the Production Scheduling, you will work within SAP, CMOPS, (Caterpillar Machine Orders Processing System) and other order management systems to forecast and review actual orders that are coming into the facility, determine if we have the finished purchased components available, assigned to an order and establish the schedule and promise date to the dealer.
What you can look forward to in this role:
Supervising and controlling new sales orders, identifying the key elements and communicate downstream for required actions.Auditing order change requests from customers, evaluate acceptance of the order change request from a material, production plan, technical and logistics perspective.Serving as primary contact for customer inquiries; providing feedback about lead time, planned timeline, order change, order reschedules, etc.Aligned customers order with Sales production plan to achieve the monthly goal.Primary contact with other departments department to manage sales and customer priorities.Assists in the collection and preparation of required demand information.Participates in the preparation of short-term demand management for a specific product or site.Produces basic demand management reports for senior staff to reconcile the demand balances.Summarizes and reports problems such as issues and concerns currently existing in demand management operations.Uses tools, with guidance, to predict and plan demand, assess seasonal factors and trendsA successful candidate in this role will showcase their skills in:

Summary Pay Range:
$79,800.00 - $119,760.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
