Your Role at KIK

The Demand Planner is responsible for developing the organizational demand plan for all products, customers, and sites.  This high-visibility role will lead cross-functional interactions, historical data analysis, sales signals, customer and market trends, and statistical projections. 

What You’ll Be Doing

Work within an enterprise-scale demand planning application to provide SKU-level demand forecasts for production and distribution locations Review historical sales trends and collect data from internal and external sources on factors known to affect demand Drive forecast accuracy and bias performance improvement through a collaborative forecasting process leveraging point of sale data, Sales and Marketing input as well as historical trends Continuously adapt demand plans based on changing information from diverse sources  Collaborate cross functionally on near- and long-term demand management process  Actively participate in S&OP meetings Facilitate life cycle planning management to assist in proper ramp up and run out resulting in optimal service levels and reduced risk of waste Report out forecast accuracy vs. target and bias vs. target Maintain planning-related item master data in the ERP Perform detailed reconciliations between systems; identify and correct any gaps is data flows Other Demand Management metrics as required Performs all work in accordance with all established regulatory and compliance and safety requirements. What You’ll Bring

Degree in in Supply Chain Management or Business Management preferred CPIM or CSCP Certified or working towards certification preferred Minimum 3 years of integrated supply chain experience from a strategic and tactical perspective Ability to read trends, identify patterns, estimate the impact of known events, and generate accurate statistical models Experience managing within a Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) or Integrated Business Planning (IBP) Organization Extensive ERP experience and demand planning software knowledge is required; Kinaxis RapidResponse is preferred Strong demand planning background in a multi-location network Knowledge of demand planning best practices including statistical baseline and seasonal profile creation Proven track record of driving metric-based organizations and results Superior cross functional communication skills and influencing without authority
