We are currently looking to hire a Demand Planner for our Nutricia Advanced Medical Nutrition team based in White Plains, NY or Louisville, CO!
The Demand Planner plays a key role in assisting the Demand Planning and GPS Senior Manager by supporting activities and data analysis required for the Demand Alignment as part of the monthly company GPS process. The role requires a meticulous approach to data analysis, an understanding of market dynamics, and the ability to integrate diverse sources of information to help optimize demand forecasting. The Demand Planner must possess exceptional analytical skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset to effectively help and support the overall demand planning process. The position is integral in ensuring that the company meets its strategic objectives by providing accurate and timely demand forecasts that will drive production, inventory management, and overall supply chain efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
The Demand Planner will support the Demand Planning and GPS Senior Manager for the following duties:
Forecasting and Planning:
Maintain demand forecasts integrity in corporate tools and systemsUtilize historical sales data, market trends, and seasonality to create accurate demand forecastsIncorporate forecast information gathered from sales, marketing, finance, and other sourcesLead new codes creation for finished goods and KITsDevelop and maintain demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons
Collaboration and Communication:
Lead weekly/monthly forecast review meetingsCommunicate forecast changes and potential quantified volume impacts to relevant departmentsLead Supply Demand reviews with broader operations team to prepare constrained forecastStay informed about market trends, product launches, and changes in customer demand
Data Analysis and Reporting:
Analyze and report on forecast accuracy and bias, providing insights and recommendations for improvementOwn key performance indicators (KPIs) related to demand planning and forecastingEnsure master data integrity in planning systemUse PBI tools to analyze data and generate insightsProvide inputs on new product forecasts and assist in the phase-in/phase-out planning process.
The base compensation range for this position is $73,000 - $105,000 commensurate with experience. Knowledge, skills and abilities:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Statistics, or a related field preferable4+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting, or relevant work experienceProficiency in demand planning tools, SAP APO / o9 Solutions application experience preferredSuperior MS Word, Excel, Power BI, and Power Point skillsStrong analytical skills with the ability to support data-driven decisionsKnowledge of statistical forecasting techniques and demand modeling is a plusO9 and PBI is a plusGood communication and interpersonal skillsDetail-oriented with strong organizational skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environmentExperience in the FMCG is a plus
Supervisory responsibilities:
The Demand Planner does not have supervisory responsibilities
