Demand Planner Compensation and Benefits

Demand Planner Qualifications

College degree within Business or Supply chain is required. 5 years of experience managing a demand plan is required. Proficiency in demand planning software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar tools). Experience with data analysis and statistical modeling techniques is a plus. Knowledge of automotive market trends and supply chain dynamics. Certification in supply chain management (APICS, CPIM, or equivalent) is an advantage. Able to pass a drug test and background check

Demand Planner Responsibilities

Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts for vehicles and auto parts using statistical models, historical sales data, and market insights. Monitor and analyze sales trends, inventory levels, and customer demand to ensure optimal stock availability and reduce excess inventory. Collaborate with Sales and Marketing teams to gather information on promotions, campaigns, and new product launches to adjust demand forecasts. Coordinate with procurement and supply chain teams to manage lead times, optimize inventory levels, and mitigate supply risks. Prepare regular reports on forecast accuracy, inventory performance, and supply chain KPIs. Continuously improve demand planning processes by incorporating advanced forecasting tools and best practices. Assist in developing strategies to align inventory planning with the company’s growth targets and budget. Identify and communicate risks and opportunities related to demand planning to leadership and key stakeholders.
