Demand Planner
We are looking for a **Demand Planner** to join our team in Chicago! At Conagra, Demand Planners specialize in forecasting for iconic and emerging food brands and contributing to our results by leading cross-functional teams to land on a forecast that informs action across our company. We use a data-driven approach to predict consumer behaviors and marketplace trends, guiding our forecasting choices, and affecting decisions about how we manage and invest in our brands. Our demand planning team forecasts what Conagra will sell in the marketplace and to our customers, allowing our partners to support the contemporizing and growth of brands through untapped opportunities that appeal to consumers. Our teams rely on our approach to identify growth opportunities and making the right investments in innovation and product modernization. We collaborate across our organization to deliver our customers the right products, at the right place, and at the right time. As Demand Planner, reporting to a manager, you will translate the consensus forecast to finalize volume mix by translating the inputs into models to provide a statistical forecast. Focus on understanding volume drivers to improve forecast accuracy and highlight risk to support proactive action plans ensuring plan delivery. **Your Impact:** + Guide the monthly forecast consensus process for your assigned brands for short- and long-term demand plans. + Collaborate with partners across the organization to obtain forecast inputs and address input gaps. + Work with production planning and deployment to translate consensus forecasts into an operational forecast for the entire network. + Ensure successful customer promotion execution through planning and applying customer event inputs. + Forecast new item launches from ideation to production. + Aid in the communication flow of changes to forecast and share information with stakeholders accordingly. + Report on forecast accuracy and lead the refinement and improvement of forecasting process, tools, and systems to improve results. + Track and reconcile metrics versus established targets. **Your Experience:** + Bachelor's degree required in supply chain, finance, statistics, mathematics or related field + 2+ years' experience in consumer products forecasting, supply chain operations or related field + Experience in a production, inventory, demand planning or similar environment + Experience with supply chain processes and the downstream effects of demand planning + Experience with forecasting application software such as SAP, APO or SAS + Exposure to sales and operations planning processes, customer or supply planning + Project management experience + Working knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, v lookup, formulas) Number of Days in Office: 3 Relocation assistance is available for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity.
