Job Description
The Customer Demand Planner is responsible for modeling demand, planning replenishment, and managing inventories with a customer-focus for key customers in our integrated and extended supply chain. This role emphasizes managing baseline forecasts on all items and promotional volume and phasing on key promotions. Frequent communication with Customer Development and the customer is required. The successful execution of this role directly affects both our sales volume/profitability and the customer’s sales volume/profitability.
ResponsibilitiesDevelop tactical inventory replenishment plans using analytical techniques and supply chain data to improve customer fill rate and satisfaction.Gain an in-depth understanding of customer’s warehouse/store operations and sales characteristics to enhance operational and continuous improvement responsibilities.Collaborate closely with Customer Development, Customer partners, Response Planner, and Operations leadership to plan and execute inventory preparedness and order execution for Terms of Sale compliance.Analyze key trends in order history within the context of the customer’s supply chain processes to identify and propose improvements.Work with the Customer Strategy Team to prepare and execute Joint Business Plans goals.Determine optimal inventory positions for each item and build truckload shipments to maximize service levels and adhere to terms of sale while minimizing costs.Establish and maintain positive relationships to collaborate on inventory positions and order management.Work with CD/CE/RP/Planning to identify possible improvements and drive towards flawless execution for the order to cash cycle.Essential SkillsUndergraduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or Business-related fields.1-3 years of relevant experience in Logistics, Operations, Manufacturing, or Customer Service.Technical understanding of SAP, AMPS, Merlin or other Supply Chain information systems.Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Access.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience with inventory management and planning.Ability to analyze and interpret supply chain data.Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Capacity to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.Work Environment

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00/hr.
