Purpose:

As a Customer Fulfilment Leader at Stanley Black & Decker, you will be responsible for sales forecasting and demand management for all products in the relevant product division. You will drive the S&OP process, ensuring effective collaboration between the commercial team, the finance team, distribution team, and supply planning team. Your focus will be on monitoring and reporting the Unit Fill rate, managing end-to-end demand forecasting for new product launches and promotions, and serving as the first point of contact for supply chain issues.

The Job (responsibilities):

Forecasting & Demand Management

Maintain the integrity of the forecasting system for the relevant product divisions.Ensure the forecasting system reflects the rolling 12 months sales planCollaborate closely with the commercial team to gather market insights and assess demand trendsUsing S&OP processes, track and pulse supply and demand to ensure inventory + inbound meets demand forecastMeasure and communicate forecast accuracyChase inventory into the DC and seek all aggressive opportunities for order maintenance

S&OP Facilitation

Drive and facilitate the S&OP process, ensuring coordination and alignment between the commercial team, finance team, distribution centers, and supply planning team

Unit Fill Rate Monitoring

Monitor and report the UFR (Unit Fill Rate) to assess fulfilment performance and identify areas for improvementImplement strategies to enhance fill rate performance and maintain optimal inventory levels

Supply Chain Management

Act as the first point of contact for supply chain issues, collaborating with relevant teams to resolve challenges promptlyImplement proactive measures to mitigate potential disruptions in the supply chainProactively communicate supply shortfalls vs. demand with reasonsBuild supply recovery plan and understand root causes for supply issuesProactively assist in all SKU rationalization and E&O reductionChallenge our Business Care/Customer Service teams with Sales Order ManagementProactively collaborate with Central Demand Planning in charge of Run Rate demand

New Product Launches & Promotions

Manage the forecast for new products by interacting with the sales & marketing teamsManage local event gathering process by interacting with the sales and marketing teamsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and availability of products

System Updates

Maintain and update systems, ensuring data consistency and accuracy for inventory and supply chain operations

Reporting

Weekly: back order report, root causes for E&O report, UFR comments, SO vs FC alignment, stock report for sales teams,…Monthly: over & under report, S&OP submission, Forecast consumption report.

The Person (requirements):

Degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related fieldA minimum of 3 years’ experience in Supply Chain or related fieldExcellent critical thinking, analytical, leadership and interpersonal skillsA team player with excellent communication skills at all levels of personnel and managementMarket and sales awarenessInitiative to think above and beyond the basic requirementBasic financial abilitiesFacilitation and Negotiation skillsAbility to work across organizational boundaries and levelsExcellent oral and written communication skillsHigh level of enthusiasm and a passion for excellenceOrder management and/or supply chain experience is desiredPC and Internet literate – MS Office Suite, Demand Forecasting systemSAP & JDA knowledge preferred
