**92875BR** **Job Title:** Demand Planner - Kennesaw, GA **Department/Function:** Logistics, Transportation,Warehousing, Supply Chain **Job Description:** **Demand Planner - Kennesaw, GA** ADM is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Demand Planner to lead the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process for our North American Biotics division. In this pivotal role, you will be at the forefront of ensuring seamless coordination between sales, production, and inventory management, helping us deliver innovative biotic solutions to our customers. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are ready to make a significant impact, we want to hear from you! **Responsibilities:** + Maintain and update statistical models for demand planning. + Generate statistical forecasts, calculate forecast errors, biases, and value additions, and implement action plans to enhance forecast accuracy. + Collaborate closely with commercial and sales teams to gather essential demand signals and forecasts. + Collect necessary inputs for demand review meetings. + Facilitate demand review meetings, serving as the subject matter expert on forecasts, demand, and product outlooks for the business. + Review and analyze the financial impact of forecasts. + Identify demand risks and recommend strategies to mitigate gaps. + Coordinate with supply and production teams to address supply and demand imbalances. + Understand production capabilities and capacities to inform the overall demand plan. + Drive process improvements and sustainability initiatives across the supply chain. + Prepare and present reports, and lead meetings with senior management. **Skills Required:** + 2 or more years of experience in demand planning. Experience in a “made to order” environment is a plus. + Statistical Analysis: Proficiency in maintaining and updating statistical models for demand planning. + Demand Forecasting Techniques: Expertise in generating statistical forecasts, calculating forecast errors, biases, and value additions. + Understanding of S&OP and S&OE Processes: Comprehensive knowledge of the end-to-end Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) and Sales and Operations Execution (S&OE) processes. + Data Handling: Ability to work with large datasets and perform data modeling. + Meeting Facilitation: Comfortable with facilitating demand review meetings and driving consensus among stakeholders. + Critical Thinking: Strong critical thinking skills to analyze financial impacts and identify demand risks. + Problem Solving: Effective problem-solving skills to recommend strategies for mitigating demand gaps. + Communication: Ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and present reports to senior management. + Deadline Management: Capability to work to deadlines and manage time efficiently. + Conflict Management: Skills to manage conflict and drive completion of action plans through informal influence. + Collaboration: Ability to collaborate with commercial, sales, supply, and production teams to balance supply and demand. + Process Improvement: Drive process improvements and sustainability initiatives across the supply chain. **ADM Leadership Behaviors** + “We help each other thrive”: + Provide support and training across business functions related to the Consensus Demand Planning process, including the link to the S&OP and S&OE processes + Demonstrate Customer focus (internal and external as needed) + “ We create the environment for diversity, equity and inclusion to strengthen us": + Demonstrate cross-functional collaboration skills + Ability to listen intently and make room for different points of view to influence decisions **Job Requirements** + Bachelor’s Degree Required + Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or Engineering preferred + Additional certifications such as following are a plus: + Association for Supply Chain Management (ASCM) Certified Demand Planning Professional (CDPP) + IBF’s (Institute of Business Forecasting) CPF and ACPF certifications + Supply Chain Institute “Certified Demand Planning Expert (CDPE™)” + International Supply Chain Education Alliance (ISCEA) Certified Forecaster and Demand Planner (CFDP) Excited about this role but don’t think you meet every requirement listed?
