It's a colorful world - make your mark by joining the BIC team today. **Overview:** As Demand Planning Intern you will dive deep into our forecasting capabilities of BIC's North America division focusing on our Human Expression category. Your analyical chops and ability to collaborate cross-functionally would be a great asset to the Demand Planning team as we solidify strategic plans across the business. **What You’ll Do:** + Support the Commercial team with Back-to-School forecasting, capturing learnings from past years and align planning cycle for 2026. + Process, manage and analyze large amounts of data and deliver a concise recommendation. + Communicate at various organizational levels and back-up thoughts with facts. + Reviewing system generated statistical forecast for account level item inconsistencies and adjusting across the planning horizon by utilizing customer prior shipments, POS data, and insights of market trends + Problem solving the highest causes of error by researching error, determining root cause and driving for improvement. + Supporting growth and innovation as a thought leader on developing, monitoring, and evolution of the demand plan. **Other Duties and Responsibilities:** + Lead Demand Planning projects related to consumption & event-based forecasting. + Support Commercial Sales with Training and Toolkit development. + Work on inventory related projects driven by PPM/IBP and integrated KPIs + Support Operating Model creation and deliverables. **What You’ll Have:** + You have a bachelor’s degree in business or related field of study. + You are an individual that has strong math and analytical skills + You preferably have worked in the Consumer-Packaged Goods industry + You are comfortable working with large data sets + You are good at adapting to different IT systems and are particularly advanced in Excel (pivots, lookups, formulas) + Seeking an independent thinker/autonomous worker; comfortable working in a fast-paced environment + Desirable working knowledge of JDA/Blue Yonder, Manugistics; PowerBI, or syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen) is preferred.
