Job Description
The Demand Planning Manager role leads the demand review process and develops the master demand plan with input from Sales, Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Product Management, Customer Service, and Procurement. The role is part of the IKO North America Supply Chain Leadership Team.

WHEN YOU JOIN US, YOU WILL BE
Oversee the Demand Planning function and creation of the Consensus Forecast across all IKO business units.
Lead the Monthly Demand Meetings with all regions and VPs to ensure an accurate Demand Plan is released through the S&OP Process
Guide Demand Planners to establish, maintain and utilize proper statistical modeling of Demand using Oracle forecasting tool.
Provide leadership and coordination for all demand planning functions, serving as the key link between sales, operations, and finance.
Develop, document, and update demand plan assumptions, highlighting key changes during review meetings.
Provide insights and recommendations to deliver a robust Volume Forecast through performance and trend analysis.
Ensure alignment between business plans and company objectives, providing gap analysis and recommendations.
Develop and report on Key Forecast KPIs and Metrics including Forecast Accuracy and Bias
Drive continuous improvement to performance and employee engagement
Document and execute process flows, rules, and standards relevant to Inventory Management & Demand Planning
Develop and mentor Demand Planners/Supply Chain Analysts

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE
10+ years of experience in Demand Planning
5+ years of direct experience with S&OP or Integrated Business Planning
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or related field; MBA or a Master’s in a relevant field preferred
APICS or other forecasting/Supply Chain Certification
Lean Six Sigma (Green Belt, Black Belt)
Experience with MRP, large scale ERP, and planning systems
Proficient with MS Office, especially Excel and data visualization tools
Strong understanding of the upstream and downstream Supply Chain process
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Ability to work cooperatively across multiple functions and demonstrate flexibility on the job.
Strong analytical, organizational, decision making and presentation skills
