This position reports to

Regional Service Manager South

Your role and responsibilities

Providing onsite technical support
Provide Application support when needed
Provide Preventive Maintenance to ABB installed base at your customer site
Troubleshooting potential equipment failures and proactively taking measures to offset/prevent and inform internal partners
Provide support for ABB upgrade projects when applicable
Suggesting product and process improvements within the business to enhance operations and customer service

Qualifications for the role

Associate degree or higher, and at least 5 years of experience years of experience in ABB’s MOD300 and 800xA technologiesHarmony/Symphony knowledge is a plus. This includes hardware, software, and application configurationSound knowledge and hands on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning, and repairing of above ABB technologies, preferably in Chemical IndustryKnowledge of Open Protocols like MODBUS, PROFIBUS would be a plusA collaborative, solution focused approach and strong written and spoken communication skills in EnglishCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
