About the role

The Four Seasons Resort and Residences at The Pearl-Qatar is looking for Demi Chef de Partie (PASTRY) to join our talented Pastry team!  Don't miss this unique opportunity to join our team and be part of the world's leading luxury hotel company.

What you will do

The Demi Chef de Partie function is to lend aid to the Chef de Partie where ever possible. They must also be flexible enough to move from department to department (substitute or relieves cook of a comparable or junior station) when necessary.

Follow notes of recipes, ingredients that are to be served with the feature menu or that you are trained or shownPreparing, cooking, finishing, and garnishing of all pastry productsPreparation of menus for outletsMake sure that set ups are done accurately before opening the outletHelp in preparing requisitions and par stocks to ensure sufficient supplies at all times and avoid overstockingTo be aware of functions, in house occupancy for breakfast or any other relevant information in the notice boardHelp the preparation of all required food products and checks taste appeal, quantity and quality constantlyKnowledgeable in regards to preparation, method, ingredients and presentationWorks harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and direct superior

What you bring

Pastry / Culinary background1-3 years of experience in related fieldExcellent command in English, both written and in oral communication
