**Now Hiring - Demolition Technician** **Location:** Des Moines, Iowa **Job-type:** 6 month contract to hire (full-time growth opportunities once contract completed) **Pay:** $16/hr starting wage **Job Description:** + We seek a diligent and reliable demolition technician to perform general interior and exterior site cleanup for multiple demolition projects. + This role involves utilizing hand and power tools to destroy structures, moving construction materials, clearing out leftover debris, and conducting general site cleanup tasks. **Responsibilities:** + Perform general site cleanup after demolition, including interior and exterior areas. + Load concrete into wheelbarrows and transport to dumpsters. + Dispose of materials in dumpsters. + Conduct sweeping, vacuuming, and other general cleanup tasks. + Maintain reliable attendance and punctuality. **Skills & Qualifications:** + Previous experience in construction demolition preferred. + Ability to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs as needed. + Able to work upright in various elements for 8-10 hours per day. + Ability to work Monday through Friday, starting at 6:45 am every day. **Why Work Here?** + This role offers rapid career progression opportunities for individuals with good attendance and a strong work ethic. + The starting pay rate can increase within a few months based on performance and attendance. + Additionally, there is a significant potential for overtime, enhancing earning opportunities. **Work Environment:** + The work environment involves assisting with interior and structural demolition projects across various locations in Iowa.
