Hours of Performance:
Monday to Friday, 0600-1700 (40 hours per week)

Responsibilities:

As an Expanded Functions Dental Assistant (EFDA), you will work alongside dentists and other dental assistants to provide placement of restorations and simple teeth cleaning to patients with no periodontal disease.Perform duties similar to military or government civil service dental assistants, including chairside dental assisting, radiology, and sterilization.Occasionally assist with patient scheduling or records review.

Qualifications:

Graduation from a formal dental assistant training program.Minimum of six (6) months of clinical dental assisting experience within the last three years.Certification in basic Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) approved by the American Red Cross or American Heart Association, Healthcare Provider Course.Training or education program including coursework on radiation physics, biology, health, safety/protection, X-ray films/digital radiography, image quality, and radiographic techniques meeting or exceeding 42 C.F.R. Part 75 requirements.Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.Strong communication and organizational skills.
