Adecco Medical & Science is assisting a local client in their search to hire a **Certified Dental Assistant** in Dallas,TX Type: Temp to perm Shift: Mon-Fri 9am-5pm, (35 hour work week, 1 hour lunch break) The anticipated wage for this position is between $23/hr. - 26/hr. Certification/licenses: CDA and/or X-ray license **Essential Duties and Responsibilities:** + Seat patients, adjusts chairs and drapes patients with protective covers. + Sets up each unit with proper supplies and instruments needed by postgraduate students during daily patient treatment. + Performs Four-handed assisting with doctor during examination and treatment of patients. + Operates suction equipment. + Mixes endodontic and restorative materials. + Maintains all dental instruments and equipment. + Maintain cleanliness of clinic and dispensary area following OSHA regulations. + Utilizes digital radiographic equipment to obtain images. + Cleans and prepares instruments for sterilization. Restocks endodontic kits with proper instruments and materials. + Assists supervisor in ordering and maintaining clinical supplies. + Understands and adheres to client's compliance standards as they appear in client's corporate compliance policy, code of conduct and conflict of interest policy. + Performs other related duties as assigned. **Education AND/OR Experience required:** Graduation from an accredited Dental Assistant Program Certification as a Dental Assistant in the state of TX Valid dental radiologic technology license issued by TX Department of Environmental Protection CPR certified Why work for Adecco?
