Job Description
The dental assistant will be part of a clinic team consisting of a faculty patient care manager, dental student provider, and treatment coordinator. The dental assistant will work closely with the team to provide patient care in a timely and efficient manner. Primary duties include: performing chair-side assisting of undergraduate and graduate students, maintaining clinic cleanliness, opening and closing the clinic, delivering and retrieving instruments for sterilization, setting up operatories, scheduling patient appointments, confirming lab cases, and ensuring a professional and caring approach towards patients. The dental assistant must present as a professional and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.

Job Type
This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s).
Work Site
This is a fully on-site position in Pomona, California.
Work Environment
They will be working in the College of Dental Medicine in an office with about 68 chairs, expecting to see about 14 patients a day. It's a fast-paced environment, unlike a private practice. The schedule is Monday to Thursday, 8 AM to 5 PM. They will work with 15 RDAs/DAs and should be open to floating to other locations in Pomona and El Monte. The culture is very close-knit.
