A leading community clinic in San Fernando is looking to add a Dental Hygienist to their team! You will conduct patient screening procedures, such as assessing oral health conditions, reviewing health history, performing oral cancer screenings, head and neck inspections, taking patient vitals, and conducting periodontal and dental charting. You will advise patients on proper home care and treatment of teeth and gums, document dental history and chief complaints, record and report pertinent observations, and document lab procedures while ensuring follow-up on results. Additionally, you will assist with or institute emergency measures during treatments, work with a variety of patients including pediatric, pregnant, and medically compromised patients, coordinate and plan educational programs, prepare reports, and perform office management duties as needed.

You will work with 12-14 patients per day. The environment offers a huge opportunity to play an important role in the community by educating people regularly on proper nutrition habits. The facility includes a teaching kitchen, allowing you to teach patients in a granular way.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $95680.00 - $116480.00
The benefits package comprised group health and life insurance with Delta dental, participation in 401kplan, 5 days of CA sick time, 9 paid bank holidays, and accrued vacation time per pay period and prorated.
