Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations._ **Responsibilities:** The dental hygienist has responsibility for providing patient care in the EIOH Pediatric clinic, which includes: prophylaxis, fluoride, sealants, digital radiographs and electronic documentation (EHR). Uses available resources to assist in day-to-day operations and to produce quality products/services. SPECIFIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILIES: - Provides patient education, prophylaxis, fluoride treatments, sealants and digital x-rays as needed. 98% - Additional duties as necessary; may assist residents when needed. 2% Essential Duties of the Job: - Ability to work well with children - Ability to work and interact in a culturally diverse environment - Ability to communicate well with children Ability to comprehend and utilize logistical data Ability to have a flexible schedule POSITION OUALIFICATIONS: Graduate of dental hygiene program and New York State Dental Hygiene license required. Two to three years' dental hygiene experience preferred.
