*This position will work on-site at our Southern Cities Clinic-Faribault, MN facility*
*This position is part-time – 30 hours a week Monday-Thursday and having Friday, Saturday and Sunday off, day shift*
Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) is seeking an individual to join our Special Care Dentistry – Southern Cities, Faribault Dental Clinic Team for an exciting and rewarding opportunity as a Dental Hygienist! Our clinic provides patient-centered dental care to people with intellectual/developmental disabilities, traumatic brain injuries, and people with severe and persistent mental illness. This position will provide maximum oral hygiene to the patients of the Department of Human Services Dental Clinic.
Primary responsibilities:
+ Perform all services permitted by the state Board of Dentistry so that maximum oral hygiene may be maintained for the patients of State Operated Services Dental Clinics.
+ Design and implement a preventive dentistry program, in consultation with the dentist, so that optimal levels of all clients’ oral hygiene can be maintained.
+ Ensure that infection control policies and procedures will be followed to maintain a safe environment for staff and patients.
+ Assist with clinic duties so that patient services and clinic communications and operations run effectively and efficiently.

**Minimum Qualifications**
+ Registration with the Minnesota Board of Dentistry as a Dental Hygienist.
