Our team is growing, and we are seeking to fill a number of key positions within our organization including this opportunity at NDX NDX Keller Dental Lab in St Louis, MO for a full time Dental Lab Technician II.
The regular hours for this position are from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and subject to change from time to time.

Primary Responsibilities and Essential Functions of the Position:
Read prescriptions and specifications received from dentist. Locate the proper shade tab from the appropriate shade guide Set up for staining and glazing by preparing work area and working materials Place crown or bridge on a hemostat for easier handling Cover with a thin coat of liquid glaze Add the gingival-cervical color to the crown or bridge using the appropriate stains Create the illusion of separation between teeth on bridges Create a "framing effect" by using white or blue stain to brighten and enhance translucency Use lingual staining techniques to accentuate the framing effect Create the cementum-enamel junction using the correct technique Create the incisal characterization using the correct technique to create the desired effect on anteriors and occlusal characterization on posteriors Check the crown or bridge with the shade tab to be sure the colors are correct Fire the crown or bridge at the correct temperature for the appropriate amount of time Check the crown or bridge again to be sure the color does not need correction. Fire at the correct temperature and for the appropriate amount of time Apply glaze to the crown or bridge and use a clean brush to remove any excess inside the abutments or the crown Perform minor porcelain repairs such as patching margins, healing cracks, etc. and do add-ons of light contacts, cusp tips, incisal edges, etc. All other duties as assigned.Skills and Abilities Required:
Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English Excellent eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity Must be able to distinguish different colors Detail orientedMinimum Education and Experience Required:
High school diploma or GED equivalent Must have 12 months of experience as a Dental Laboratory Technician and is skilled in one or more of the tasks associated with a Dental Laboratory Technician.Hazardous Materials or Equipment Used:
