Posted Job Title Dental Library Internship Job Profile Title Temporary Employee - Non-Exempt Job Description Summary The University of Pennsylvania Dental Library seeks an energetic Intern for a one-year internship. Under the mentorship of the dental librarian, the intern will work on a variety of research projects, educational programs, and library marketing campaigns. The Dental Library operates as an integral part of the Penn Libraries system and provides cutting-edge research services and information resources for the University of Pennsylvania Dental School. This is a great opportunity for exposure to the workings of academic and specialized libraries. Job Description Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: + Learn about and assist with the Library's reference and consultation services to patrons. + Learn about and assist with Library outreach and marketing. + Learn about and assist with librarian with development of research guides. + Learn about and assist librarian with research impact assessments. + Learn about and assist with the Library's social media accounts. + Learn about and assist with online tutorials and courseware. + Learn about and assist with systematic reviews. + Learn about and assist with new technologies and resources. + Tell us your ideas for self-defined projects in your area(s) of interest! Qualifications: Current graduate student in an ALA-accredited Library or Information Science program or related discipline. This is a 1 year term position.
