Dentist (Full-Time or Part-Time) - Queens Reports to: Chief of Dentistry, Queens 131-72 40th Road Flushing, New York, 11354 United States Responsibilities : + Diagnose, treat and maintain the oral cavity of both the hard and soft tissues and their related structure by usual customary dental practices + Diagnose and render high quality dental care + Conduct in-service training programs in oral health for the ancillary staff of the Dental Department, and for other Health Center staff + Teach Oral Health Education, including preventive care and nutrition to patients + Maintain all dental records as prescribed by Dental Policy and Procedures Manual + Assist in teaching dental staff specific dental procedures outlined in the Department's Procedures Manual + Assist in oral health education activities at community agencies + Assist in ordering, receiving and storage of dental supplies + Able to work part-time schedule of one day weekend and one day weekday per week + Perform other duties as assigned Minimum Qualifications : + Degree from accredited Dental School (DDS or DMD) + License to practice dentistry in New York State + Must be a general dentist with 1-2 years of experience and high competency in clinical dentistry + Commitment to and knowledge of community health care + Good organizational skills + Bilingual in English and Chinese preferred Compensation and Benefits : + Full-Time Salary: $150,000.00 - 175,000.00 per year + Medical insurance + Employer-paid dental, vision, disability and life insurance + Employer-paid malpractice coverage through FTCA + 403(b) retirement savings plan + Flexible spending accounts for transit, parking, health and dependent care + Paid time off (6 weeks) + Continuing medical education time and allowance + Employee Assistance Program + National Health Services Corps loan repayment program available, and + The Health Center is qualified for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) program
