Department Analyst II — Patient Flow

The Department Analyst II will function as a primary resource for operating units regarding the collection of data, analysis and evaluation of operational resources, services, programs, systems, budgets, and procedures. This role is critical to the ongoing evaluation of the Hospital Transfer and Critical Care Transport programs. We will hire at the Department Analyst I or II level, depending on the candidate's experience. This is a hybrid position with most time spent remote, and some time spent onsite at Main Campus or Beachwood Administrative Campus. Ideal candidate will have data analytic and extraction experience which may include tableau reporting, SQL query utilization and analytics using Microsoft excel.
A caregiver in this position works days, 8:00am—4:30pm.
Remote in Ohio, Florida and Nevada only.
A caregiver who excels in this role will:
Analyze and evaluate operational and financial functions of administrative and operational units.
Analyze departmental resources, services, systems, budgets, and programs.
Prepare reports based on analysis.
Conduct comprehensive statistical analysis and evaluation of unit services and performance.
Identify program or service strengths, weaknesses, and financial impact and identifies opportunities for service and program improvement.
Develop special reports and recommendations.
Provide input in the development of operational plans, procedures, and systems.
Review and evaluate current procedures and systems and develop recommendations for improvements.
Maintain awareness of and complies with various regulatory guidelines (JCAHO, FDA, HIPAA, OSHA, etc.).
Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health Care Administration or related field.
One years of statistical analysis experience.
OR High School diploma/GED and six years of experience may substitute the work experience and education requirements.
OR Associate’s degree and four years of experience may substitute the work experience and education requirements.
OR Master’s degree and one year of experience may substitute the work experience requirement.
