Job Summary

This position assists their group in planning and carrying out broad assignments that lead to recommendations for change methods, procedures or policies. The Department Coordinator develops plans and assists in coordinating activities to achieved planned results. In this role, the incumbent may be given full responsibility for planning and conducting assignments of moderate complexity.

Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Maintains the calendar; coordinates meetings and schedules conference rooms and equipment for the group supported.Maintains departmental files, dispositions and transmits and records.Gathers, compiles and summarizes information for various special projects and conducts special studies as required.Assists with and performs the analysis of data and evaluation of performance of systems, equipment, work activities, and programs within area of expertise.Performs analysis and evaluation of equipment and uses expertise to solve problems and recommend corrective actionAssist in the evaluation of industry proposals regulations and guidelines to determine impact to plant activities, programs and processes.Prepare materials and conduct training on standard and new procedures and processes.Determine and recommend courses of corrective action to address existing and emerging situations.Technical subject matter expertise within defined area of expertise.Credit card and reconciliation.Maintenance Timekeeping (EmpCenter administrator) for Maintenance. for all shops (Mechanical, Electrical, I&C)Per Diem and expense reports for resource sharing for mechanical, electrical, services and I&C.M&TE Custodian and support for the Maintenance Department.Work Order Closure for I&C and Operations and act as an alternate for Work Order Closure for Electrical and Mechanical.Records Custodian for Maintenance including Drawings and Vendor Manual updates, strip chart capture, and I&C file folder catalogue. 

KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE:

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in technical discipline with relevant work experience or a High school diploma required and 6 years equivalent related work experience in area of technical expertise preferredAdvanced computer skills required
