What You Will Do:
The Department of Defense Strategic Advisor position within our Defense & Security Segment will advise on a range of mission-related issues on existing engagements and new pursuits. This person will bring depth of experienc within the Department of Defense to the team. This role will be a combination of strategic planning, new opportunity pursuits, and engagement delivery with a strong emphasis on thought leadership. This role will seek to find the intersections between defense and national security entities to developed integrated solutions.
Key Responsibilities may include:
Engaging with senior executives to analyze and understand business initiatives
Develop and grow a business portfolio supporting key policy and mission deliveries
Engage with internal and external partners to develop collaborative environments in support of deliverables
Foster external relationships and brand awareness across industries
What You Will Need:
Ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a SECRET Federal or DoD security clearance
Bachelor's degree
FIFTEEN (15) or more years' experience supporting the federal government either through direct employment or as a consultant
Experience engaging with senior leaders within federal government
Strong communications acumen and briefing skills in support of senior leaders within federal clients
Experience translating policy into programmatic actions
Knowledge of Department of Defense industry missions and initiatives
What Would Be Nice To Have:
An ACTIVE and CURRENT SECRET security clearance or higher
Graduate degree or higher
Experience supporting US Navy, Air Force, and/or Space Force
