Description We are offering a contract to permanent employment opportunity for a Deposit Operations in Canton, Massachusetts. This role will center around managing certain parameters within system applications and modules relevant to retail and deposit operations functions. The position will involve close collaboration with the Deposit Operations Manager and the Information Technology team, aiming to minimize risk and financial losses by establishing efficient processes and controls in Deposit Operations. Responsibilities: • Oversee system applications and modules, ensuring their maintenance and updating to support retail and deposit operations functions. • Balance End of Year withholding information and guarantee IRS forms are correctly created and completed in a timely manner. • Review new account packets from Client Services to verify client Identification and documentation aligns with Bank policies and Procedures. • Manage daily File Maintenance reports and accumulate sufficient backup, following Bank policies and Procedures. • Handle Domestic and International incoming and outgoing wires. • Maintain system specifications for CIS and all deposit products, including setting up specifications for new products as needed. • Update Platform and Integrated Teller with up-to-date forms, products, and disclosures. • Collaborate with the Information Technology team for program enhancements. • Create specialized reports as needed. • Ensure consistency in processing by developing and implementing written procedures. • Act as a subject matter expert and guide deposit operations staff towards efficiencies. • Improve and promote quality, demonstrating accuracy and thoroughness. • Resolve issues in a timely manner using problem-solving skills, gathering and analyzing information. • Communicate clearly about day-to-day operations and issues. • Write and review operating procedures to ensure support to the Bank and compliance to Federal and State laws and regulations. • Collaborate with other internal departments such as Compliance, Retail, and Security Operations. • Compile data required by internal and external auditors and/or examiners. • Investigate and resolve inquiries from internal departments and external customers. • Ensure that regulatory, legal, Bank, and audit requirements are met. • Understand business transactions, knowledge of account flow, and financial documents. • Lead and/or participate in projects as needed. Requirements • Applicant must possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in Deposit Operations or similar roles. • Proficiency in compliance regulations related to deposit operations is required. • Knowledge and experience with Fiserv software is essential. • Must have experience handling wire transfers. • Familiarity with Automated Clearing House (ACH) operations is necessary.
