Worker (Special Programs) within RBHS Office for Violence Prevention & Victim Assistance Department at the RBHS Chancellor’s Office.

Reporting to the Program Manager of the Violence Prevention and Victim Assistance (VPVA) Office at RBHS, the Dept. Worker (Special Programs) is responsible for providing functional assistance to VPVA staff and supporting programming related to survivor support services and violence prevention education.
This position is grant-funded for a commitment of 35 hours per week. The grant ends  August 31, 2025.

The Department Worker (Special Programs) should be knowledgeable and comfortable discussing interpersonal violence. This individual will lead engagement, educational, and advocacy activities for their peers. Additionally, the Department Worker will support the Education & Prevention Coordinator and serve as a liaison between the RH student body and faculty/staff populations.

Among the key duties for this position are the following:

Collaborate with Program Manager and Education & Prevention Coordinator all programs, trainings, workshops and outreach of the office. Plan and implement organization and promotion of awareness programs Guide the sharing of information regarding VPVA services to RBHS members at events and meetings. Recruit for and coordinate the VPVA volunteer program. Design content and graphics for educational materials and social media. Attend weekly team meetings.
