Primary Duties: The successful applicant for the Deputy Attorney General position will be assigned to the Attorney General’s Special Prosecutions Unit to handle cases dealing with insurance fraud. Duties of this position include handling all aspects of insurance fraud criminal cases, from screening and charging through trial and sentencing; consulting with investigators on an as-needed basis; providing training to investigators and local insurance professionals; and appearing in courtrooms throughout Idaho. Minimum Qualifications: Must be licensed to practice law in Idaho. Frequent travel throughout the state is required. Preferred Qualifications: This is a unique opportunity to join the Attorney General’s Special Prosecutions Unit because prosecution experience is preferred but not required.
