From the Snake River Basin Adjudication, the largest water adjudication in U.S. history, to the management of surface and ground water resources conjunctively, Idaho is at the forefront of water issues in the West. Join the legal team that is writing the next chapter in water law and water administration. We do it all – from advising IDWR, to appearing before the Idaho Water Adjudication Court, to arguing cases before the Idaho Supreme Court. Candidates need to have strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills as they will assist in drafting orders and may appear in judicial review proceedings before Idaho courts. Minimum Qualifications: Must be licensed to practice law in Idaho and have a desire to work in public service. Strong academic qualifications are required. Preferred Qualifications: At least 2 years legal experience strongly preferred. Relevant legal and technical work experience or undergraduate technical coursework is desirable.
