Job Description Role - Deputy Corporate Chef
Location - Hamburg, office based / hybrid working with travel
We are seeking an experienced Deputy Corporate Chef to support culinary operations across the fleet of a leading shipping brand. This role ensures the delivery of exceptional dining experiences, adherence to standards, and team leadership in a dynamic, multicultural environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in developing menus and culinary standards, incorporating global trends. Supervise kitchen operations, ensuring food quality, safety, and compliance with regulations. Lead and mentor culinary teams, fostering professional growth and motivation. Manage food costs, inventory, and procurement to maintain efficiency and quality. Oversee quality assurance and address guest or operational feedback. Collaborate on events, themed dining, and new initiatives to enhance guest satisfaction. Qualifications:
Degree in Culinary Arts or equivalent experience in cruise/hospitality environments. Proven leadership in large-scale culinary operations, with a focus on innovation and consistency. Strong knowledge of food safety and global cuisines. Excellent organizational and communication skills. Benefits:
