What You’ll Get to Do:
Deputy Division Director assists the Division Contract Director in managing high volumes of work for the Civil Division of the Department of Justice. The Division Deputy must be capable of performing all Division Contract Director management and coordinating functions, as assigned by the Division Contract Director, and will be required to attend numerous periodic and ad hoc face-to-face meetings with the COR and Government Case Managers.
More About the Role:
The Deputy Division Director directs and manages multiple complex projects simultaneously relating to work of the Civil Division and client agencies. The scope of work includes both support to individual cases as well as support provided to Civil Division branches or offices through labs. All support requires proven and demonstrated experience and expertise with all tasks in the full life cycle of the EDRM process. Work includes a high level of administrative functions and oversight including cost estimation and budget forecasting. The individual will direct the work of litigation support staff in multiple geographic locations that are responsible for processing, loading, review/analytics, productions, pretrial and trial support for all cases and must possess a high level of experience and proficiency with DOJ tools including the advanced features of Relativity.
In addition, the Deputy Division Director participates as a Capture Manager on large and small scale proposals which includes determining solutions/themes, briefing executive leadership, preparing pricing, establishing teaming agreements and writing technical sections. When applicable, the Deputy Division Director also Identifies, procures and manages subcontractors for current and future business opportunities.

Subject matter expertise in discovery and litigation support, including industry certifications and demonstrations of prior experience managing the full life cycle of large scale litigation support projectsPrior experience directing the work of staff providing support to a DOJ section or office involving a laboratory environment and with a suite of DOJ standard processing and production toolsExperience with Data Analytics tools like Power BI or TableauExperience with Relativity or other eDiscovery / Litigation review toolsExcellent soft skills including solid oral and written communicationPrior experience with trial supportPrior experience drafting proposals and with the proposal processExpertise with DOJ tools including but not limited to Relativity and the advanced features of using the tool.Prior experience managing vendor partner relations.Technical knowledge and credentials such as RCA or CEDSProject Management certifications such as PMP.-______________________________________________________________________________

The proposed salary range for this position is:
