The role of the DEPM will be performed by a mid-career emergency management professional with demonstrated acumen supporting an all-hazards exercise program aligned with the Homeland Security Exercise and Evaluation Program (HSEEP) standard. Professional experience collaborating within or across any national critical infrastructure sector is preferred. The EPM may delegate any functional responsibility to the DEPM, including planning and execution of integrated preparedness initiatives, any activity within the exercise cycle, internal and external support services, training systems development and delivery, tabletop exercise packages, human capital management, comprehensive stakeholder engagement, information management, and contract compliance.
