Deputy General Manager, McLarty Associates

Responsibilities:

Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.

Manage support staff and coordinate workflow to maintain a well-organized office environment.

Develop and implement office policies and procedures to enhance operational effectiveness.

Conduct comprehensive policy and market research to support client projects and initiatives.

Prepare detailed reports and presentations to communicate research findings to clients.

Provide expert guidance and feedback on the development of client reports to ensure accuracy and clarity.

Edit and proofread reports to maintain high standards of quality and professionalism.

Collaborate with clients to refine report content and ensure alignment with their objectives.

Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and personalized service.

Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to enhance their experience and satisfaction.

Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the company’s client base and market presence.

Develop strategic partnerships and collaborations to drive growth and innovation.

Prepare proposals and presentations to effectively communicate the value of services to potential clients.

Act as liaison with AmCham-China, the US-China Business Council and other international organizations to foster partnerships and collaborations.

Represent the company at meetings, events, and conferences to enhance visibility and influence.

Maintain a strong network of contacts within these organizations to facilitate mutual support and cooperation.

Coordinate and participate in client and stakeholder engagements to promote services and build relationships.

Organize outreach activities, including workshops and seminars, to enhance community and client engagement.

Develop communication strategies to effectively reach and engage diverse audiences.

Support the planning and execution of meetings with government officials to advance company objectives.

Facilitate communication and collaboration between the company and government entities.

Monitor regulatory developments and advise on potential impacts to ensure compliance and strategic alignment.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Public Policy, International Relations, or a related field. A Master's degree is preferred.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and research tools.

Familiarity with CRM software and project management tools is advantageous.

Proven track record in conducting policy and market research and analysis.

Experience in business development and building strategic partnerships.

Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing and supervising teams.

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills to ensure efficient office operations.

Proficient in conducting detailed research and analysis to support client projects.

Ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills for preparing and editing reports.

Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain client relationships.

Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to identify and pursue business opportunities.

Competence in preparing proposals and delivering persuasive presentations.

Ability to establish and maintain strong connections with international organizations and stakeholders.

Skilled in engaging with diverse audiences through outreach activities.

Understanding of government processes and ability to assist in meetings and regulatory compliance.

Fluency in English and Mandarin is essential.
