Procurement & Contract Management:
Managing material & services procurement starting from PR until placement of PO.
Draft, review, and manage procurement contracts, ensuring legal and compliance requirements are met.
Monitor contract performance, resolve disputes, and take necessary actions for contract renewals and terminations.
Vendor Management:
Identify, evaluate, and manage vendors and suppliers, ensuring their capability to meet our technical and commercial requirements.
Negotiate contracts, terms, and conditions to secure advantageous agreements for the organization.
Technical Knowledge:
Possess a strong understanding of technical products, materials, and services relevant to our industry.
Collaborate with technical teams to define product specifications and requirements.
Cost Optimization:
Develop and implement strategies to optimize costs while maintaining quality standards.
Monitor market trends and industry developments to identify cost-saving opportunities.
Supply Chain Management:
Oversee the end-to-end procurement process, from demand assessment to order placement and delivery.
Collaborate with logistics and inventory management teams to ensure timely and efficient supply chain operations.
Quality Assurance:
Establish quality standards and performance metrics for purchased products and services.
Monitor and enforce quality standards, working closely with suppliers to address any issues.
Budget and Financial Control:
Develop and manage the procurement budget, ensuring compliance and cost-effectiveness.
Monitor and report on procurement-related financial performance and variance analysis.
Risk Management:
Identify and mitigate potential risks in the supply chain, such as supply disruptions or quality issues.
Develop contingency plans to minimize disruptions and maintain business continuity.
Qualification:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Master's degree is a plusExperience (Yrs.):
15 - 20 years, of which 8-10 years in Operations. In depth experience in dealing with manpower resource / maintenance AMC / ARC/ utility service contracts, specialized equipment, construction / operational / technical product and service procurement. Handled a minimum team size of 3 to 5 members. Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills Clear stake holder management in his/her day-to-day functional engagements Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. Hands on experience in handling both indigenous and international product/service/vendor base with good knowledge on Indian laws - Contract Management, FIDIC is preferable Hands on experience in working on technology platforms like SAP Ariba / Oracle / others
