Responsible for ensuring compliance with labor laws and factory regulations, managing statutory filings, documentation, and licenses while serving as the key legal contact for employee relations and regulatory matters. Keep track of changes to laws, regulations, trends, and interpretations, serving as the legal contact for matters related to factory laws and regulations applicable to the company's operations.Prepare, register, amend, and renew documents under various Acts, including The Factories Act 1948, The Minimum Wages Act 1948, The Payment of Wages Act 1936, The Payment of Gratuity Act 1972, and The Bonus Act 1965.Ensure timely preparation and submission of annual, monthly, and half-yearly returns under The Factories Act, The Bonus Act, The Labour Welfare Fund Act, and The Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) ActCoordinate with statutory bodies for registrations, license renewals, and amendments as required under labor laws.Ensure proper filing of Labor Welfare Fund returns, Forms A, B, C, and D, and submission of Employment Exchange (ER) returns on a quarterly basis.Verify contractors' licenses for compliance with the Contract Labour (Regulation & Abolition) Act 1970 and ensure timely amendments to the Registration Certificate (RC) for new contractors.Provide guidance on key policies, processes, and procedures while assisting units with Employee Relations (ER) legal issues.Approve forms, templates, and documents and ensure alignment with labor laws and company policies.Commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion:
