To support in implementation of Safety Management System in Port premises, MIS, compliance, safety Performance monitoring, IMS and report preparation

Key Accountabilities
1.
Timely preparation of all compliance reports, MIS and monthly department data and records2.
Implement safety requirement of department. Coordinating & organizing Safety meeting, DSSC meeting, Surakshya Samwad , SRFA audit & safety training to the workers to create a safe working environment within the port.
3.
Reporting of UA, UC and tracking of compliance through online system or off line system.
4.
Ensuring third party inspection and schedule inspection all lifting tools, tackles, equipment and machineries as per schedule/ applicable (including Conveyor Line).
5.
Supervise the safety activities at Port and ensure continual improvement in various activities with respect to safety requirement.
6.
Prepare training plan for team members and contractual employees. Ensure compliance of PTW system inside Port
7.
Ensure Reporting of incident at respective work areas and follow up for investigation & discussion with the concern person/in-charge for closure of incident.
8.
Collecting of safety data from all sections, departments & Agencies & preparation of master record sheet.
9.
Coordinate with contractors and supervisors to manage safety systems. Maintaining all document pertaining to safety data.

Assisting the line manager in External & Internal audits as well as in day to day safety activity.

Conduct Score card audit of Designated contractors. 16. Assist Prepare and updating IMS documents of safety & other departments.

Inspect various operational & work areas for checking compliance of safety requirements and its applicable norms.

Participation in Training, Awareness Activities, Celebration of National Safety Week, Road Safety Week and Fire safety Week

Identification of Activities carried out at your respective assigned areas. Ensure to implement JSA, HIRAC, WI/SOP for each Activities carried out your respective areas.

Act as initiator for conducting safety Mass TBT & Mass Awareness in respective areas

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:

Diploma/Degree (In Electrical Engg, Electrical and Electronics Engg) with PDIS (Post Diploma In Safety) / BSC having Physics , Chemistry & Mathematics & recognize safety course by State Govt /Central Govt RELEVANT EXPERIENCE: (no. of years of technical, functional, and/or leadership experience or specific exposure required) 7 to 10 Yrs exp in the relevant field
