Develop and execute strategic plans to optimize logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution, to meet business objectives Lead and mentor a team of logistics professionals to ensure efficient and effective execution of day-to-day operations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements, cost-saving initiatives, and best practices Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics, and implement corrective actions as necessary to ensure operational efficiency and customer satisfaction Oversee compliance with local and international regulations governing the transportation and handling of copper materials Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers and negotiate favorable contracts to support business requirements Stay abreast of industry trends and technological advancements to drive continuous improvement in logistics operations Act as a liaison between logistics, procurement, production, and sales teams to ensure seamless coordination and communication Education Qualification Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field Master's degree or MBA in a relevant field (preferred) Experience 8-13 years of experience in logistics operations within the copper industry or similar field Demonstrated success in leading and managing logistics teams Proven track record of implementing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
