Lead and oversee the mechanical operations within the copper business Ensure compliance with safety regulations and implement best practices for a safe working environment Manage and optimize maintenance activities for mechanical equipment and systems Develop and execute strategies to enhance operational efficiency and productivity Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives Provide technical guidance and mentorship to the mechanical engineering team Contribute to the development of annual budgets and manage costs effectively Participate in the procurement and installation of new mechanical equipment Stay updated with industry trends and technological advancements to recommend innovative solutions Prepare reports, documentation, and presentations related to mechanical operations 12-17 years of experience in mechanical engineering Experience in the copper industry is highly preferred Demonstrated track record of leadership and project management Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration is a plus
