Deputy Manager - Terminal Operation

1.Responsible for Execute standards to meet safety, financial, quality and operational objectives on a shift basis ensuring excellence in delivery for AIAL and AIAL partners and stake holders.
2.Establish and manage a sound working professional relationship with all internal and external stake holder at airport, airline, local authorities, ground handlers, service provider, concessioner and vendors.
3.Responsible for effective leadership and management of the workforce on shift, delivering on staff development and performance, mentoring and performance management.
4.Ensure airport revenues are optimized if any, and costs are controlled in accordance with Adani policies and procedures. Identify and implement cost saving initiatives.
5.Execute and deliver the Adani vision for delivery on shift through successful implementation of plans, policies and procedures to deliver world class service levels delivery for Adani Ahmedabad Airport.
6.Active participation and contribution for AERP, BCP, SOPs and their revisions at regular intervals.in consultation with the Head – Terminal Operations.
7.Deliver Best Practices to improve and enhance operations through ongoing identification, mitigation and management of non-compliance or area of improvement across safety, quality and operations.
8.Lead the shift and drive employee engagement, a high-performance culture that gives emphasizes to empowerment, communication, quality, productivity, goal attainment.
9.To carry out all the functions as enumerated in the Annex-9 relating to ‘Facilitation’ issued by International Civil Aviation Organization – ICAO
10.Co-ordinate with local State Protocol Officers for VIP/VVIP movements and for other special occasion with full courtesy.
11.To Establish and have effective supervision of effective Public Grievance System and feedbacks. To ensure the public grievances are responded in the defined TAT.
12.Monitor the SLA of all service providers (HK, Trolley Management, Pest Control) and highlight the shortfalls if any.
13.Ensuring all the infrastructures are available for our stakeholders, partners and concessionaires and resolving and mitigating the challenges of internal and external stakeholders.
14.Other Ad-hoc duties as detailed by the business as and when required.

A Graduate in any discipline preferably with a post graduate degree in Management/Aviation Management from an institute/ University recognized by UGC/AICTE.

Essential: 12-18 years of experience of leading operations at the airside, terminal, VIP protocols and emergency handling at airports

Technical / Functional Skills Required:
• Conversant with Computers
• Experience in managing Airport operations.
• Knowledge of ASQ Standards, ICAO, DGCA, etc. standards
