Deputy Program Manager

V2X is hiring a Deputy Program Manager for an anticipated contract award. This position is contingent upon contract award. Responsibilities The Deputy Program Manager (DPM), in the absence of the Program Manager, shall be fully responsible for the overall performance of the contract. The DPM shall be the secondary point through which communications, work assignments, and technical direction flow between the Government and the Contractor. The COR or designated Government representative, shall be the Contractor’s first POC in the Government. Additional requirements are as follows: The DPM is expected to establish and maintain effective customer relationships with the goal of maintaining a mutually beneficial business relationship with the Government. The DPM shall possess highly developed interpersonal, analytical and communication (written and verbal) skills and demonstrate the ability to manage in a diverse and dynamic environment with short-notice taskings under high pressure situations. The DPM shall be available within one hour during normal work hours to meet on-site with the COR or designated Government representative. After normal business hours, the DPM shall be available within two hours, after notification, to meet on-site with the COR or designated Government representative. Qualifications Industry recognized certification in Program and/or Project Management or Facility Management. Bachelor’s Degree in Facility Management, Construction Management, Business Administration, Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Structural), or another related field. Ten (10) years’ experience managing multiple aspects of building operations; two (2) years of which shall have been with a contract of similar size and scope.
