Deputy Program Manager
Overview *No Relocation Assistance* SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Deputy Program Manager to join our team in Camp H.M. Smith, Honolulu, Hawaii. As the Deputy Program Manager, you'll play a vital role in leading the team responsible for the system engineering, operation, maintenance, and security, ensuring DoD compliance. Our team, based in Honolulu, Hawaii, creates, manages, and supports IT solutions for USINDOPACOM, its mission and its 5,000+ customers throughout the Pacific theater. Our team solves challenging technical problems that enable USINDOPACOM to realize critical and time sensitive C2 strategies Essential Job Duties As a Deputy Program Manager at SOS International LLC, you will support the Program Manager in overseeing all contractual and financial matters relating to daily operations of this effort, as delegated. Apply comprehensive subject matter expertise across key tasks and high impact assignments. Assist in the planning and leadership major Information System Modernization projects. Evaluate performance results and recommend changes affecting organizational growth and success. Functions as a technical expert across multiple project assignments. Apply management techniques, methods, theories, principles and labor relations concepts sufficient to assure optimum utilization of personnel, equipment and space and to accomplish program objectives through combined technical and administrative oversight. Lead the organization and team to improve the customers core infrastructure, technological architecture, and security capabilities is necessary to fulfill the mission to protect sensitive information. Coordinates and communicates with internal and external teams, including users and partners. Produce standardized, complete, and useful status reports, presentations, reports, product evaluations, meeting-related records, and other documentation as needed. As delegated, responsible for cost, schedule, performance and risk identification / mitigation on the program, including but not limited to staffing, systems, tools, equipment, software, facilities, subcontractors, travel, and other activities. Coordinates resolutions to production-related problems. Consistently demonstrates in-depth knowledge and understanding of the management skills required to meet mission requirements. Demonstrates ability to work independently and with minimal oversight. Regularly interacts with key Government (KO, COR, Task Leads) and corporate leaders. Provide monthly contractual reports to the government. Ensures compliance of custody and ownership of Government equipment and related components. Participates in related solution technologies and special projects, as required. Minimum Requirements Active in-scope TOP SECRET clearance with SCI eligibility and US Passport Prior supervisory experience. Able to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing. Able to effectively lead a team within a distributed organizational environment. DoD 8570 IAT-II compliant (e.g., Security+ CE, CASP+, CCNA, SSCP) Bachelors degree and Three years+ in IT Architecture or 10+ years plus in Lieu of Degree of experience in Enterprise IT Engineering and Operations involving complex classified DoD environments, design and delivery of IT infrastructures Familiarity with DoD Zero Trust guidance and the principles of Data Centric Security. Advanced knowledge in the areas of Virtual Desktop Infrastructure, Hyperconverged Infrastructure, DoD Battle Management Systems and NSA Commercial Solutions for Classified. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, adapt to changing requirements, and effectively communicate with POCs and customers. Able to support 24/7 operations (including support to exercises), when necessary. Preferred Qualifications Advanced understanding of DoD Zero Trust guidance and the principles of Data Centric Security. Experience in ITIL framework and best practices (e.g., Change Management, Configuration Management, Capacity Planning) Additional IT certifications in relevant technology platform (e.g., Cisco, Citrix, Dell, HPE/Aruba, ITIL, Juniper, Microsoft, Nutanix, Palo Alto, VMware) Well-versed in Department of Defense (DoD) protocols, procedures, and regulations. Familiar with operating in classified environments. Work Environment Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
